Bike Ride Across Scenic Utah — Ride the full 815 miles over two weeks. The bike tour visits Utah, Colorado and Nevada. Highlights include 7 national parks — Zion, Grand Canyon, Bryce, Capitol Reef, Glen Canyon, Mesa Verde, Arches and Canyonlands. Limited to 25 riders. Offered by Bike2Bike, a non-profit that raises funds primarily for Huntsman Cancer Institute. Dates: June 2-17, 2012.
Bike Ride Across Northern Utah — Also offered by Bike2Bike, the tour links the Golden Spike National Historic Monument to the Dinosaur National Monument, about 360 miles. Dates: June 23-30, 2012.
Red Rock Ramble — The scenic country of southern Utah is the backdrop for this 270-mile self-contained bicycle tour offered by the non-profit Adventure Cycling Association. The paved route visits Zion, Bryce Canyon and Cedar Breaks. Cyclists will stay in hotels and eat in restaurants. Dates: June 2 – June 8, 2012.
Cycle Utah — This supported bike tour visits the national parks of southwestern Utah — Zion, Bryce Canyon, Grand Staircase-Escalante, and Cedar Breaks. 280 miles of cycling in 6 days. Presented by non-profit Adventure Cycling Association.Dates: June 9-15, 2012.
Bicycle Barnstorming Tour – Three-day bike tour combines history, cycling and a love for barns. Historic tour of Sanpete and Sanvier counties, as seen through its historic barns. Presented by the Utah Heritage Foundation. Dates: June 11-13, 2012.
The Legacy Annual Great Bike Ride Across Utah plans on visiting 3 national parks, 3 national monuments, and 4 state parks. In addition to the week-long ride, a 10-day option is offered that visits 2 more national and state parks. Vermont
Intro to Road Touring – Vermont – Adventure Cycling Association hosts this educational program geared to self-sufficient bicycle touring in Brattleboro. Starts with two days of classes, followed by four days of bicycle touring. Dates: June 23 – 28, 2012.
Vermont Inn-to-Inn — Nearly 300 miles through the spectacular fall scenery of Vermont on this self-contained bike tour presented by Adventure Cycling Association. Dates: Oct. 7 -13, 2012.

Virginia
Blue Ridge Bliss — A supported bicycle tour through Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia and North Carolina. Camping. Covers 287 miles; starts and ends in Roanoke, Virginia. Non-profit Adventure Cycling Association. Dates: June 2-8, 2012.
Blue Ridge Parkway — The 2011 Wally’s Bicycle Tour presented by the White River Bicycle Club visits the Blue Ridge Parkway. Dates: June 8 – 19, 2011.
Tour de Chesapeake — May 19, 2012 The official bike ride is Saturday, featuring four different loop options for 19 to 86 miles of bicycling out of Mathews, Virginia. Entertainment and events Friday through Sunday, including a couple of unsupported rides on Sunday. In its 14th year, the event is now hosted by the County of Mathews.
Bike Virginia — The multi-day bike tour celebrates its 25th anniversary with bicycling routes around the Winchester area. More details at the website as they become available. The tour opens in Berryville for a few days of riding and will follow up in the Charles Town or Harpers Ferry area. Organizers rate the difficulty as 6 out of 10. (Reservations open Dec. 1, 2011.) Dates: June 22-27, 2012.
Northern Neck River Ride is a three-day ride that makes several routes available to bicycle riders between the Potomac and Rappahannock rivers. Based at Kilmarnock, Virginia. Dates: Sept. 23-25, 2011.
