Cinderella Classic -- April 5, 2008 This 65-mile bike tour around Amador, Livermore and Diablo valleys touts itself as the only ride for women and girls. Sponsored by Valley Spokesmen of Dublin.
Hemet Double Century and Century -- April 5, 2008 The southern California ride, ongoing since 1965, is a giant figure-8 loop of two 100-mile rides; a 100-mile only option is possible for either loop. Course closes at 10 p.m.
Party Pardee Century -- April 5, 2008 This 65-mile bike ride through the rolling foothills of Amador and Calaveras counties starts at Howard Park in Ione. A scaled-down version also available. Sponsored by Sacramento Bike Hikers.
Redlands Bicycle Classic (formerly Tour of the Canyons) -- April 5, 2008 Three easy options and one killer bike ride. Distances are 6, 12 and 33 miles, as well as a 60-mile challenge that gains 5,000 feet of elevation on grades as steep as 22%. Sponsored by Rotary Club of Redlands.
Sea Otter Classic Weekend -- April 17-20, 2008 Bicycling magazine hosts two road rides -- one is 100 miles long -- on the Sunday (April 20) of the Sea Otter Classic Weekend. The classic includes mountain and road racing, bicycling booths, and more. Monterey
Bike Around the Buttes -- April 19, 2008 This is a fund-raiser for the Diabetes Center of Yuba Sutter. Three courses -- 17.5 miles, 40 miles and 100 miles. The century is essentially a flat course that passes through Meridian.
Tierra Bella 2008 -- April 19, 2008 The annual ride is actually four different routes, from flat to hilly. The rides comprise 60K, 100K, 100 hilly miles and 126 hilly miles, all leaving from Gilroy. Sponsored by the Almaden Cycle Touring Club.

Primavera Century -- April 20, 2008 Four choices -- 100 miles, 100K, 70K, 25 miles. Starts in Union City in East Bay. Sponsored by Fremont Freewheelers Bicycle Club.
Alpine Challenge -- April 26, 2008 A premier ride in the eastern San Diego County mountains. Route comprise 20 miles, 30 miles, 61-mile Descanso Ride and 72-mile Pine Valley Ride. Sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Alpine.
Chico Velo Wildflower Century -- April 27, 2008 One of the nation's top 10 centuries, according to Bicycling Magazine, the bike ride starts in Chico. Features a 100-miler, but also offers two 65-mile rides, and 30- and 20-mile routes. More than 2,200 cyclists; register early.
