Pascenta Century -- February 4, 2007  A Super Bowl Sunday century bike ride starting at One Mile, Bidwell Park, Chico. Routes for 50, 75, and 100 miles. Flat. Sponsored by Chico Velo.

Tour de Palm Springs -- February 9, 2008  A charity ride for nonprofits in the Coachella Valley, the five routes of 5 to 100 miles draw about 8,000 cyclists. This year's ride leaves from Palm Canyon Drive between Baristo and Ramon roads in Palm Springs. (Bike Expo on February 8, 2008)

Rice Valley Tandem Rally -- February 10, 2008  Three rides for tandem bicycles, leaving on a figure-8 course from Gridley. Sponsored by Chico Velo Cycling Club. Fully supported.

Mardi Gras Century -- February 23, 2008  This year's ride, beginning in Ventura, coincides with the Tour of California. Quarter, metric and full century have been mapped out for coastal and valley bicycling. Sponsored by Ventura Velo.

Tour de Ed -- February 23, 2008  A fund-raiser for Ed McLaughlin, general manager of the Chico Velo Cycling Club and a Northern California bicycle advocate. He was critically injured when he struck a pole in a bike path and has regained the use of one arm. Many modifications are needed at his home. Formerly the Almond Blossom Ride, proceeds will go to the Chico Cyclists Care Fund, with McLaughlin as the first beneficiary. Six miles and 20 miles.
