Idaho Bicycle Ride Calendar

August - September 2012

Sawtooth Century Tour -- August Ketchum to Alturas Lake and back. Presented by Blaine Country Recreation District.

Bike MS - Road, Sweat and Gears -- Aug. 18-19, 2012 Starts in McCall, and heads north along Lake Payette to the Burgdorf Hot Springs turn off. Day Two rides south toward Donnelly, Idaho, stopping off at Jug Mountain Ranch, and continuing on to the Tamarack round. Fund-raiser for MS.

Kootenai River Ride -- September Three options of 10, 37 or 62 miles along the Kootenai River, leaving from Bonners Ferry at the Boundary County Fairgrounds. Presented by the Bonners Ferry Rotary.

Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes -- Sept. 8-9, 2012 A 150-mile bike tour raises money for the Inland Northwest Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Takes place on the Coeur d'Alenes trail in northern Idaho.

Ride to Joseph -- (cancelled in 2012) The 200-mile ride leaves from Lewiston and heads into the Wallowa Mountains of northeast Oregon to Joseph for an overnight. The return trip follows the same course. Twin Rivers Cyclists.

Tour de Vins -- September Three options of 15, 32 or 60 miles from the Idaho State University PSUB building in Pocatello. Wine tasting in the late afternoon or evening in old town. Presented by Family Service Alliance of Southeastern Idaho.

WaCanId Ride -- Sept. 17-22, 2012 A 340-mile bike tour loop around the Selkirk Mountains encompasses parts of Washington, Idaho and British Columbia. Riders can begin in any of the host towns -- Oldtown, Sandpoint, or Bonners Ferry in Idaho; or Creston, Nelson, Fruitvale or Castlegar in British Columbia. Presented by Rotary Club.
