Oregon Bicycle Ride Calendar

July 2008

Prairie City Bicycle Invitational -- June 28 - July 6, 2008  Nine different routes offered over a nine-day period, leaving from Prairie City. Not structured or supported in the usual sense, there is no registration or fee payment, but there also is no guarantee of support services on any route or any date. Cyclists are free to choose which route they want to ride; volunteer groups may or may not provide services for fund-raising. See the flyer at Bicycle Invitational.

Northwest Tandem Rally -- July 3-6, 2008   Tandem riding through the Willamette Valley from the base camp at Linfield College in McMinnville.

Bike MS -- July 19-20, 2008  Two days bicycling through the covered-bridge country  of Linn and Lane counties. Total mileage of 150 miles. Fund-raiser for Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Tour des Chutes -- July 19, 2008  A fund-raiser for the Lance Armstrong Foundation with five mileage options; 6, 25, 48, 75 and 100 miles. Starts in Bend.

Oregon Ultimate Century -- July 20, 2008  105-mile bicycle ride from Sisters to Westfir. Formerly a double century; contact Hutch's Bicycles
