Oregon Bicycle Ride CalendarSeptember-October 2012Hutch's 100K -- Sept. 4, 2011 62-mile ride beginning and ending at Tumalo State Park; sponsored by Hutch's Bicycles in Bend. Cycle Oregon -- September 10-17, 2011 Weeklong fully supported bicycle tour, usually covers more than 400 miles; tours northeastern Oregon and southeastern Washington in 2010 and 2011. SOLD OUT (in two days) People's Coast Classic -- September 10-16, 2011 A fully supported charity ride down the Oregon Coast to raise money for the Arthritis Foundation. Rolls out from Astoria to Brookings, although there are two- and four-day tours as well. Tour de Lab -- Sept. 11, 2011 Choose your bike loop: The Puppy (18 miles) visits 3 Portland pubs, the Big Dog (30 miles) visits 4 pubs. Presented by Good Sport Promotions in cooperation with Lucky Labrador Brewing Co. Ride the Rogue -- Sept. 15, 2012 (No ride in 2011) The ride benefits the Rogue River Recreational Corridor and Greenway. Four options -- 100, 65, 25 and 2 miles. Other activities that day at the Rogue River Park in Palmerton. Farm to Farm Century -- Sept. 17, 2011 The bicycle tour visits four farms in the Willamette Valley where participants can sample locally produced goodies. Starts and ends at the Monroe Sharing Gardens (south of Corvallis). See website for details. Hood River Harvest Ride -- Sept. 24, 2011 Five loops leave from the fairgrounds in Hood River. The longest is 100 miles and climbs more than 8,000 feet. Fully supported, low-traffic roads. Peach of a Century -- September 23, 2012 62- and 100-mile bicycle tours leaving Chemeketa Community College; sponsored by Salem Bicycle Club Harvest Century -- Oct. 8, 2019 The annual ride features options of 100, 75, and 45 miles and a 3-mile family fun ride to support people with developmental disabilities. Starts at Friendship Plaza in the Washington County Fairgrounds in Hillsboro. (Map below)View Larger Map
