The 2007 Tour de France is finally underway with the prologue through London. Here's some choices of where to get live updates and commentary through the Tour's finish in Paris on July 29.
Versus -- The cable TV channel is broadcasting live action and replays daily. Here's the Versus Tour de France TV schedule;
Eurosport -- The UK-based sports website has partnered with Yahoo. The Eurosport Tour de France page features a "Live Audio" broadcast button; look for it on the right-hand column under "Related Video."
Le Official website -- The live Tour de France website shows leaders, on the road time gaps, and links to other teams, daily routes and pictures.
CyclingNews -- Find news and video features at CyclingNews' main Tour page; the menu at left has a link to live updates;
VeloNews -- The main page to VeloNews' Tour coverage includes links to live coverage, live mobile, and streaming video (not live).
YouTube -- The YouTube Tour de France channel has video clips from this and other Tours.
Blogs -- More blogs every year feature Tour de France coverage. Frank Steele at Tour de France blog has been at it the longest and is the most complete. One of the most unique is Tour de France Lanterne Rouge, which celebrates the rider in last place. Tour de France for the Rest of Us also takes a somewhat different view on tour coverage; Endless Cycle is another good one. Others good ones include Cycloblog, Cyclocosm, Peloton Blog, and Podium Cafe.
Google Earth -- Download the newest 3-D Tour de France Google Earth mashups (requires Google Earth).
