Excellent bakery, deli and sit-down dining in historic Black Diamond. This is a former coal boom town close by the western slope of the Cascades in Washington state.

Cyclists make adjustments to their bikes and bodies at the first stop at Seward Park, about 10 miles into the 204-mile ride. A free wrench service is available here too.
