Just for the Hill of It Bike Challenge — June 3, 2017 A 13-mile bike ride up Old White Bird Grade in Grangeville, followed by lunch at Hammer Creek Recreational Park. Benefits the Syringa Hospice program.
Lemhi Valley Century — June 10, 2017 The Lemhi Valley Century features two options, both on Highway 28: — 100 miles from Reno Point to Salmon or 60-mile ride from Gilmore Summit (el. 7,170 feet) to Salmon (el. 3,940 feet). Facebook fan page.
CHaFE 150 — June 17, 2017 The 150-mile bike ride raises money for families dealing with autism. Starting in Sandpoint, the cycling route rolls through northern Idaho and western Montana. There’s also an 80-mile option. Limited to 500 cyclists.
Ride for Hope — June 24, 2017 Raises funds for healthcare for the medically underserved in the Treasure Valley. Bike route options of 19 to 100 miles are offered. Starts and ends in Kuna, near Boise.
Goldilocks Ride — July 8, 2017 This first-ever women’s only ride in Idaho begins at Settlers Park in Meridian. Options of 20, 40, 60, 80, and 100 miles.
I Made the Grade — TBA — Just 18 miles long, but this bike ride gains 2,000 feet in elevation on the Old Spiral Highway outside Lewiston, Idaho. Not a race; but finishers do get a T-shirt. Sponsored by the First Presbyterian Church of Clarkston for many years; now a fund-raiser for the Clarkston High School Band.
