Cycle for Independence — May 19, 2018   The bike ride features options of a metric century (66 miles), 25 miles or 10 miles. A fund-raiser for National Federation of the Blind. 20th Anniversary ride in 2018.  Starts at Riverglen Junior High School, Boise. Facebook page.

Bite the Bullet May 27, 2018 A 68-mile, semi-supported loop ride around Cul de Sac features 4,000 feet of climbing. Sponsord by Twin Rivers Cyclists.

Just for the Hill of It Bike Challenge (2018 TBA) June 3, 2017 A 13-mile bike ride up Old White Bird Grade in Grangeville, followed by lunch at Hammer Creek Recreational Park. Benefits the Syringa Hospice program.

Lemhi Valley Century — (2018 TBA) June 10, 2017 The Lemhi Valley Century features two options, both on Highway 28: — 100 miles from Reno Point to Salmon or 60-mile ride from Gilmore Summit (el. 7,170 feet) to Salmon (el. 3,940 feet). Facebook fan page.

CHaFE 150  — June 16, 2018 The 150-mile bike ride raises money for families dealing with autism. Starting in Sandpoint, the cycling route rolls through northern Idaho and western Montana. There’s also an  80-mile option. Limited to 500 cyclists.

Ride for Hope — June 23, 2018 Raises funds for healthcare for the medically underserved in the Treasure Valley. Bike route options of 19 to 100 miles are offered. Starts and ends in Kuna, near Boise.


Goldilocks Ride — June 23, 2018   This first-ever women’s only ride in Idaho begins at Settlers Park in Meridian. Options of 20, 40, 60, 80, and 100 miles.

Huckleberry Ride July 8, 2018  This ride features huckleberry ice cream in Elk River. The 54-miler starts in Deary City Park. Presented by Twin Rivers Cyclists.

Fondo on the Palouse — July 21, 2018 The bicycling event features three courses of 15, 50, and 100 miles, all beginning in Moscow, Idaho. The longer route goes through Pullman, WA.

4 Summit Challenge — July 28, 2018 Starting in Cascade, the bike tour  proceeds down Main Street to Warm Lake Road. From there, riders can choose to ride 1-2 summits or 3-4 summits–up to 90 miles round trip–to return to the Legion Hall. Options of 28 to 90 miles. Limited to 400 bicyclists.

I Made the Grade — (2018 TBA) June 10, 2017 — Just 18 miles long, but this bike ride gains 2,000 feet in elevation on the Old Spiral Highway outside Lewiston, Idaho. Not a race; but finishers do get a T-shirt. Sponsored by the First Presbyterian Church of Clarkston for many years; now a fund-raiser for the Clarkston High School Band.

  1. July 21, 2018 is Fondo on the Palouse. Information can be found here: http://fondopalouse.org/

    The event currently has three routes to challenge all pariticpants.

    The Family Fondo is a 15 mile route beginning in Moscow Idaho and ending in Troy, Idaho.

    The Potlatch Fondo is a 50 mile route beginning in Moscow Idaho, passing through Troy, Deary, and Princeton Idaho ending in Potlatch, Idaho.

    The Moscow Fondo is a 100 mile route beginning in Moscow Idaho, passing through Troy, Deary, Princeton and Potlatch Idaho before continuing on to Colfax and Pullman Washington. From Pullman cyclist complete the last leg of the Fondo returning to Moscow.

    Fondo on the Palouse provides an opportunity to engage, entertain and support local communities, non-profits and individuals of the Palouse through the active and healthy lifestyle of touring by bicycle.
