Bike MS Oregon Willamette Valley —  Aug. 6-7, 2022  Two days of bike riding out of Monmouth. First day has five options ranging from 21 to 100 miles; second day has three options of 22 to 45 miles. Starting line is Western Oregon University.

Cycle for a Cause Aug. 7, 2022 The charity bike ride features three options of 10,  35 and 100 miles that begin and end at St. Josef’s Winery near Canby. Destinations are Silver Falls State Park and Mount Angel. Benefits Apple of His Eye Charity, which works in India and Rwanda.

Bike Oregon Wine Country  2022 dates to be announced Eola Hills hosts wine country rides every Sunday in August. Begins/ends at Eola Hills Winery, Rickreal, Oregon. Check the website for routes.

 

Covered Bridge Bicycle Tour — Aug. 14, 2022 Sponsored by Mid-Valley Bicycle Club; up to five covered bridges. Three options of 68 to 101 miles. Begins at Linn County Fairgrounds in Albany.

Providence Bridge Pedal— Aug. 14, 2022 Enjoy a light breakfast at sunrise from the top of the Fremont Bridge before cycling through town on I-405 and then south to the Sellwood Bridge, or bike across six downtown bridges, including the Fremont and Marquam. Young cyclists can join Kids Pedal, a free, 3-mile ride over the Hawthorne and Steel bridges then cross the finish line with all the other cyclists. Shorter mileages for fewer bridges.

Blackberry bRamble Century — Aug. 20, 2022 (Bike routes and details to be determined) Proceeds from the bRamble help support GEARs operational, advocacy and education projects, and local causes such as Safe Routes to School, Eugene Adaptive Recreation, Center for Appropriate Transport. Presented by Greater Eugene Area Riders (GEARs). #


Monster Cooke Metric Century — Aug. 28, 2022 Starts  in Keizer, Oregon. The 61-mile route will take riders over back roads to Champoeg State Park and back to Keizer. The route is generally flat with a few short hills and follows much of the Willamette Valley Scenic Bikeway. Presented by Salem Bicycle Club.

Crater Lake Century — 2022 dates to be announced A few good climbs greets cyclists on this ride from the Fort Klamath Museum. Follows the Wood River Valley, climbs to Crater Lake, for a trip around the lake then back to Wood River Valley. Fund-raiser for the museum.

Roy Ride and Brew — 2022 TBA Choose one of four route options — 53, 30, 15, or 8.2 miles — to support St. Francis of Assisi School programs. Begins at St. Francis of Assisi School, 38975 NW Harrington Road, Banks, OR. A chicken barbecue or vegetarian dinner follows the ride.

  1. The BEAVERTON Banks and Beyond Bicycle tour will not be happening any longer. The last ride was in 2017.
