Bike-a-Roo Breakfast Ride — May This 25-mile bike ride starts with a pancake breakfast at Shevlin Park. Sponsored by Sunnyside Sports in Bend.
Pedal for People — May 12, 2012 The Oregon Supported Living Program presents the Pedal for People Metric Century Ride. Bike ride options of 100k, 60k and 2k start and at Armitage Park in Eugene. The ride benefits adults with developmental disabilities. Luncheon with entertainment follows; also prizes.
Ride of Silence – May 16, 2012 Hundreds of bike rides around the world begin at 7 p.m. local time on this date to commemorate cyclists who have died in traffic. Check for local listings.
Reach the Beach — May 19, 2012 Four routes — 26 to 103 miles. Begins in different locations depending on length option. All end in Pacific City; benefits American Lung Association. Registration now open

Columbia Gorge Explorer 2012– May 25, 2012 A four-day Memorial Day weekend ride averaging about 60 miles a day through Washington and Oregon. Starts and end in Vancouver, with overnight stops in Home Valley, Deschutes River State Park, and Viento State Park. Its Loaded Touring 101. Presented by Portland Wheelmen.
Century Ride of the Centuries (CROC)– May 25-28, 2012 (Memorial Day Weekend) Three days of centuries, metric centuries, and half metric centuries around Pendleton; seven big rides in all in eastern Oregon.
Upmqua Ultimate Bike Ride — May 26, 2012 All three bike ride options – 20, 46 and 65 miles – start at Sutherlin’s Central Park and pause at Lighthouse Center Bakery. Presented by Umpqua Ultimate Events.
Southside Ride — May A 60-mile round-trip bike ride from Sunriver to Twin Lakes. No long climbs, but rollers. Leaves from Sunriver Thrift Store on Spring River Road. Sponsored by Hutch’s Bicycles .
