Connecticut

Angel Charitable Trust is an awareness and fund-raiser for the Camp Hole in the Wall Gang’s Hospital Outreach Program. Two days from Northwestern Connecticut to overnight in Ashford and finish in Mystic. Dates: May 26-27, 2012.

Delaware

Chesapeake Bay Bicycle Tour is either a 5- or 6-day bike tour that covers the Eastern Shore of Maryland and one-night lodging in Lewes, Delaware. Four tours offered through a private company, Carolina Tailwinds, in May and September.

Florida

Florida Keys Winter Escape — The self-contained bike tour starts in Fort Lauderdale and rolls down the coast to Key West, where bicyclists pick up a ferry to Fort Myers and follow a route across the state to the start. Presented by nonprofit Adventure Cycling Association, the tour covers 381 miles.Dates: Jan. 17-27, 2012.

Bike Florida – 2012 — The week-long Forgotten Coast bike tour in 2012 starts and ends in Tallahassee, with overnights in Quincy, Wewahitchka, Apalachicola, Sopchoppy. Daily mileage is 40 to 65 miles, depending on options  Dates: March 24 – March 30, 2012.

Florida Bicycle Safari — Six days of bicycle riding in North Florida and South Georgia. First 3 days at Suwannee Country Fairgrounds in Live Oak; then Cherry Lake Campground north of Madison. Sponsored by Florida Freewheelers bike club and based in the Live Oak area. Limited to 250 cyclists.   Dates: April 21-26, 2012.

Florida Keys– Self-supported bike tour of southern Florida starts in Fort Lauderdale and travels over several bike-friendly bridges out to Key West, then returns inland to the start for a 381-mile loop. Presented by Adventure Cycling Association. Dates: Oct. 27 – Nov. 6, 2012
