Oklahoma FreeWheel — 2017 marks the 39th annual bike ride across Oklahoma. The bike ride usually begins near the Red River at the southern border with Texas and heads north to just beyond the Kansas line. Generally about 1,000 cyclists take the ride. Meals are not included. Dates: June 11-17, 2017.
Turkey Mountain Urban Wilderness Area is a 300-acre “urban wilderness” south of Tulsa. Trails there have received a national recreation trail designation.
Pathfinder Parkway rolls through eastern Bartlesville for nearly 12 miles. The greenway runs along Caney River and Turkey Creek.
