Across State Bicycle Tours: Minnesota – Mississippi



MS 150 Bike Tours — Three different bike rides to raise funds for the Upper Midwest Chapter of the National MS Society. Check the website for: Twin Cities Bike Ride, May 20, 2018; Duluth to White Bear, June 8-10, 2018; Tour de Minnesota (formerly TRAM), July 15-20, 2018.

Tour of Minnesota A 325-mile bicycle tour loop starts and ends in Willmar, and visits Morris, Fergus Falls, Alexandria (2 days), Little Falls, and St. Cloud. Daily mileage ranges from 45 to 80 miles. Dates: June 15-22, 2018.

Habitat 500 bike ride is a fund-raiser for the Habitat for Humanity Minnesota. The Habitat 500-mile ride  celebrates its 26th year in 2018. Check the website for details when they available. Dates: July 15-21, 2018

Bicycling Around Minnesota routes bicyclists through the Iron Range in Northeastern Minnesota. Camping areas are provided, although limited hotel options are available. Fully supported with meals included. See the website for host cities. Register early — limited to 275 riders. Dates: August 9-12, 2018

Minnesota Bike Ride — “The Annual Minnesota Crossing for a Good Cause.” The cross-state bicycle tour rolls west to east for 323 miles, starting in Brown’s Valley and ending in Taylor’s Falls. Host towns along the way are Morris, Alexandria, Little Falls, Stanchfield, and Isle. Limited to 30 riders.  The ride supports the fight against cancer. Dates – Sept. 9-14, 2018

Red Ribbon Ride — is a 300-mile bicycle tour fund-raiser for Minnesota AIDS service organizations; celebrating its 11th year in 2013. Starts at Mall of America in Bloomington, Belle Plaine, Mankato and Waconia with a closing ceremony at the state capitol is St. Paul. Dates: On hiatus
