Get Your Guts in Gear is a fund-raiser to raise awareness for Crohn’s Disease. One-day options of 10 to 100 miles are available along the Hudson River. Dates: June 13-14, 2015.

Finger Lakes Loop — The self-contained bicycle tour presented by the nonprofit Adventure Cycling Association visits the Erie Canal and the Finger Lakes region. Mileages and terrain geared to intermediate level cyclists. Leaves from Syracuse for a 323-mile loop. Dates: June 27 – July 6 2016.

Five Hundred Miles Across New York (also known as the Great Big FANY Ride) benefits the Double H Ranch, a camp in the Adirondacks for critically ill children. Check website for route. Dates: July 24-30, 2016.

Bon Ton Roulet hosts a bicycle tour of the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York. The loop tour starts in Cortland with overnights in Watkins Glen, Keuka, Geneva, and Auburn. Route options of 45 to 75 miles a day. Dates: July 23-30, 2016.

Cycling the Erie Canal takes bicycle riders from Buffalo to Albany along the historic and scenic Erie Canal. The 8-day tour covers about 400 miles, about half on bike trail and the rest on low-traffic roads. (Registration opens in January) Dates: July 10-17, 2016.

Cycle Adirondacks is a bike tour that winds in and out of the forested Adirondacks Park. Presented by the Wildlife Conservation Society, the 500-mile ride begins and ends in Saranac Lake. Shortened 3- and 4-day trips are also possible. Many amenities, includes three gourmet meals a day. Dates: Aug. 20 – 27, 2016. 

Great Hudson Valley Pedal follows the Hudson from Albany to New York City. The 6-day tour covers about 200 miles. Dates: 2016 (Read more at “Albany to Manhattan bicycle tour set for August.”)

    Would you plan a custom one day bike trip for 7 adults ages 45-80 around Utica Ny on sat or Sunday Oct 8 or 9? We would need bike rentals too.thx
