Ellensburg Manastash Metric/Half Century — October 3, 2015  Two routes through rolling terrain around Ellensburg. The 66-miler includes a steep climb that the 33-mile route avoids. Sponsored by the United Way of Kittitas County.

Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day — Oct. 3 & 4, 2015  The Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance is hosting the event at the Duthie Hill bike park near Issaquah. The event feature trail riding, an obstacle course and a freestyle show by local pros. Starts at 10 a.m.

Pronto! Street Skills Class — Oct. 8, 2015 Pronto Cycle Share and Cascade Bicycle Club are hosting an introductory course on city biking. 6-7 p.m. at 2519 1st Ave.

Washington Bikes!  AuctionOct. 17, 2015  A fund-raiser for the statewide bicycle advocacy group, formerly known as Bicycle Alliance of Washington. Appetizers, northwest beers, seated dinner, silent and live auctions. Seattle Marriott Waterfront Hotel.

Boneshaker Bicycle Festival — Oct. 31, 2015 The Skagit Valley town of La Conner is hosting  a Halloween-inspired bicycling weekend. Four ride options of 4, 16, 31 and 62 miles. Bike Swap & Expo, special guest speakers, live music & entertainment, Kids Parade, bike decorating, bike safety rodeo, raffles and prizes.

November 2015

Cranksgiving November 2015  A bike ride to collect food for Rainier Food Bank. Participants follow a course, buying food along the way. Meeting at Gas Works Park for registration at 11:00 a.m. More details on the way at Seattle Bike Blog.
