Washington state’s 2019 week-long and multi-day bicycle rides

Washington state’s reputation as a rainy destination is proved false every summer and fall as blue skies greet bicyclists coming to the Evergreen State.

2018 Ride the Willapa

You’ll notice that the week-long and across-state rides below are scheduled during that sunny period.

The Cascade Bicycle Club and Adventure Cycling Association,  both nonprofits, schedule the bulk of the longer state rides in the state. (Both Cascade and Adventure Cycling offer more rides than shown here.) The Rotary Clubs in northeastern Washington, as well as Idaho and British Columbia, schedule the annual WaCanId Ride around the Selkirk Mountains in the fall. The Rotary Club of Redmond also presented the annual Redspoke charity ride from Redmond to Spokane every year, but it looks like that event has been retired.

Also, an annual Northwest tandem rally is scheduled in Idaho in 2019. It should return to Washington state in 2020.
