BRNW Montana — Bicycle Ride Northwest presents a loop ride in Montana in 2020. The ride starts/ends in Columbia, with overnights in Red Lodge, Cooke City, Cody (2 nights) and Belfry. Depending on options ridden, the tour ranges from 378 miles with 22,700 feet of elevation gain. Dates: July 11-18, 2020.

Cycle Greater Yellowstone — This 384-mile bike tour experiences 14,800 feet of elevation gain. The ride begins in Butte, and features visits to Jackson, MT (hot springs), Bannack State Park, Polaris (Maverick Mountain and Elkhorn Hot Springs), Pioneer Scenic Byway, Big Hole River Retreat, Twin Bridges, Pony, Lewis and Clark Caverns and the Pipestone Scenic Byway back to Butte on Friday, August 14. Scenic Tour of the Kootenai River (STOKR) is a one- or two-day charity bike ride out of Libby, Montana. Day 1 offers a 98- and 45-mile option. Day 2 is a 37-mile ride to Lake Koocanusa. Limited to 400 cyclists; registration opens in February. Dates: TBA – May.
Missouri River Scenic Century – (formerly One Helena Hundred) is presented by the Helena Bicycle Club. Bicyclists have a choice of 100 miles or 100 kilometers along the Helena River. Date: TBA – July
Tour of the Swan River Valley West (TOSRV-West) is a 2-day, 226-mile loop bike tour through western Montana. The ride starts in Missoula, overnights in Bigfork, then returns to Missoula. Ride Around the Pioneers in One Day (RATPOD) is a 130-mile fund-raiser (Camp Make a Dream) loop bike ride that encircles the Pioneer Mountains, starting in Dillon. Registration for the popular ride opens on March 7; 650 cyclists maximum. Date: TBA – June
West Yellowstone-Old Faithful Bicycle Tour is a fundraiser for several local charities in West Yellowstone, Montana. The National Park Service caps the ride at 350 participants for the 60-mile up and back ride to Old Faithful. The ride coincides with National Public Lands Day, when no admission is required.
