Oklahoma FreeWheel — Started in 1979, the bike tour usually begins near the Red River at the southern border with Texas and heads north to just beyond the Kansas line. 2021 host towns will be Vernon, TX – Frederick, OK – Medicine Park, OK – Hinton, OK – Kingfisher, OK – Perry, OK – Blackwell, OK – Arkansas City, KS. Generally about 1,000 cyclists take the ride. Meals are not included. Beginning in 2020, presented by No-Drop Tours. Dates:

Turkey Mountain Urban Wilderness Area is a 300-acre “urban wilderness” south of Tulsa. Trails there have received a national recreation trail designation. Music festival. Dates: 2020 TBA
Pathfinder Parkway rolls through eastern Bartlesville for nearly 12 miles. The greenway runs along Caney River and Turkey Creek.
