Oregon Coast Gravel Epic — May 6, 2023 The Oregon Coast Gravel Epic is a Gravel Grinder consisting of 65% pure logging roads that are unpaved and the other 35% smooth pavement left over from decades of active logging that still exists to this day. Based in Waldpole. Part of Oregon Triple Crown.

West Coast Gravl — May 7, 2023 Based in Yachats, 6 miles south of Oregon Coast Gravel Epic experience for a 45 and 34 mile adventure. Part of Oregon Triple Crown.

Cannon Beach Fat Tire Bike Festival – May 12-14, 2023 Three days of biking at Cannon Beach, including sunset and guided rides to Hug Point waterfall, a scavenger hunt, beach party and brews.

Ride of Silence — May 17, 2023 Hundreds of bike rides around the world begin at 7 p.m. local time on this date to commemorate cyclists who have died in traffic. Corvalck for local listings.

Filmed by Bike — May 18-21, 2023 Short and feature length films about bicycles and bicycling. Go to website for times and locations

Reach the Beach —  May 20, 2023 Four routes — 26 to 103 miles. Begins in different locations depending on length option. Leave from Sauvie Island, Vernonia, or Jewell and ride to Astoria. All end in Pacific City; benefits American Lung Association. Registration now open

Cycle Oregon: Gravel — This gravel road ride presented by Cycle Oregon is based in Moro this year. Includes routes through the high plateaus of the Columbia Gorge. Dates: May 19-21, 2023

Mohawk Valley Metric Century  – May 20, 2023 The Oregon Supported Living Program presents bike route options of 100k-plus, 100k, 60k and 40k. Loop rides start at Armitage Park in Eugene. The ride benefits adults with developmental disabilities. Luncheon with entertainment follows; also prizes.

Columbia Gorge Explorer  — May 26-29, 2023 A Memorial Day weekend ride averaging about 60 miles a day through Washington and Oregon. Starts and end in Vancouver, WA. No sag support. Presented by Portland Wheelmen.

Art of Survival – May 27, 2023 Route options include Century, Metric Century, 45 mile, 16 mile family-friendly or a 20 mile mountain bike route through the Modoc Forest. Starts in Malin, OR.

Petal Pedal — See June Three mileage options for bicycling around Silverton — 30, 62 or 100 miles. Mostly flat riding in the Willamette Valley with a hilly option to Silver Falls. Also an after party.
