Final upgrades to East Lake Sammamish Trail begin June 1; segments closed through 2023

The widening and asphalt-paving of the two remaining crushed rock segments on the East Lake Sammamish Trail begins June 1. The work means use of the 11-mile bicycle trail as a through-route between Redmond and Issaquah will be interrupted through late 2023.

Cycle track opens to connect rail-trails in eastern King County

King County has completed installing a cycle track to connect the gap between two eastside Seattle rail-trails — the Issaquah-Preston Trail and Preston-Snoqualmie Trail.
